CJ E&M has uploaded onto its official Youtube channel the music video for “First Love,” the collaboration track between BEAST‘s Yong Jun Hyung and BTOB. 

“First Love” is from the OST of the popular Mnet drama “Monstar” in which Yong Jun Hyung stars in along with rising actors Ha Yeon Soo and Kang Ha Neul. In the drama, Yong Jun Hyung plays an idol member part of a group called Men in Black along with BTOB members. 

“First Love” is also available for download at online music stores, made available due to popular demand after the song was first aired on episode six of “Monstar.” The lyrics for the track portray Yong Jun Hyung’s character’s feelings of frustration, regret, and first love. The music producer of “Monstar,” Postino, composed this song.

The music video is a montage of scenes between Yong Jun Hyung’s character, Yoon Seol Chan, and Ha Yeon Soo’s character, Min Se Yi, falling love. The montage is cut with scenes of Yong Jun Hyung and BTOB rehearsing “First Love,” highlighting the crossover of reality and fiction for these real-life idols.
