I had a lot of worries about taking on a historical drama prior
to filming, but I told myself it’s just a melodrama with some action
scenes. That helped me a lot. The director didn’t give me a lot of
suggestions but rather told me to do whatever I felt like doing. It
seems that I do better when I feel free.”
