Power girl group 2NE1 will finally be making their long-awaited comeback soon, July 8 to be exact, and have scheduled their first television appearance for Sunday, July 7.
On July 3, YG Entertainment announced that 2NE1 will make their first appearance on TV for the upcoming single "Falling in Love" this weekend.
The four members will perform the new single on Sunday's episode of Inkigayo.
According to their agency, 2NE1's new tune will get back in touch with their original reggae sound.
The comeback will also serve as the starting point for promotions for the group's new album expected to drop in October.
While it has yet to be released whether the new 2NE1 album will be an
EP or the group's second official full-length release, "Falling in
Love" will be one of several singles released each month until October
in preparation for the release.
The last release from the popular girl group was one year ago with "I
Love You," and fans are highly anticipating the new release.
Additionally, 2NE1 started an official channel on LINE, a global
messaging app on Tuesday, July 2. Fans who add the group as a friend
through the service can access new photos and videos of the group.
