On September 20, Girls’ Generation’s DVD from “Girls’ Generation-Girls&Peace-Japan 2nd Tour” and their eighth Japanese single album, “Galaxy Supernova,“ topped
Oricon’s both overall DVD chart and music DVD chart. The tour DVD was
released on the same day as their single on September 18.
Starting in February of 2013, “Girls’
Generation-Girls&Peace-Japan 2nd Tour” was performed twenty times in
seven different cities and gathered a total of 200,000 fans across the
country.
Meanwhile, fans who got listened to “Galaxy Supernova” commented,
“Because the concept of the new single is ‘outerspace,’ their style is
bright and spectacular,” ”Glad to know that they’re receiving much love
in Japan,” and “Awesome, my unnis!”
